The Right Side of the River at the Rosebud

This Valentine’s Day weekend, grab your significant other and head over to The Rosebud in Davis Square, Somerville for a night of unforgettable music starting at 9:00PM. And hey, if you don’t have a significant other, maybe Friday night is your night? Who knows? Only one way to find out.

Off to an early start Ethan Robbins & Cold Chocolate will be handling your mood for the first quarter of the night. This folk/bluegrass group will soothe you with Ethan’s funk/soul style vocals backed by intense southern instrumentation. Next on the menu, In One Wind, are the perfect blend of harmonized male/female vocals over music that is accessible, but wildly unpredictable.

Plumerai is taking the stage soon after. Showcasing beautifully sad lyrics over quiet, driving instruments comparable to a happy Carissa’s wierd. Philadelphia’s The Beta Phase will be capping off the night with straight rock reminiscent of something you would have heard in the late 90’s. Their catchy hooks and ripping solos will send you off on the right foot.

Come down to Davis Square in Somerville on Friday, February 17 at 8:30 for some post-Valentine’s celebration.
